College of Veterinary Medicine

In accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the Student Activities Division at the College implemented the initiative entitled “My School”, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to fostering the values of generosity, civic engagement, and social responsibility in service of the community.

The activity, held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, witnessed the participation of a group of the College’s faculty members accompanied by several students. Participants distributed school bags and stationery to orphaned pupils at Al-Farah School, in an atmosphere characterized by compassion, humanitarian spirit, and social solidarity.

This initiative forms part of the University of Mosul’s broader program of volunteer and community-oriented activities aimed at strengthening the spirit of cooperation and instilling the values of empathy and responsibility among students. It also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
