Within the framework of the Postgraduate Students’ Skills Development Program, and in line with the college’s commitment to strengthening the academic and research competencies of postgraduate students and promoting their effective engagement in the program, Professor Dr. Raad Abdulghani Basheer, from the Department of Veterinary Public Health, delivered a specialized workshop on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, entitled:

“Methods for Extracting Scientific Research for Publication in Peer-Reviewed Journals.”

The workshop addressed the concept of research extraction, its methodological steps, and strategies for minimizing textual similarity, including the elimination of non-essential content, the reorganization of research sections, and adherence to proper academic writing practices that avoid direct copying.

The workshop concluded with an open academic discussion and the exchange of scholarly experiences among participants, fostering a constructive scientific environment that enhanced the overall academic benefit of the session.
