Workshop Entitled: “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Field of Veterinary Medicine

On the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Career Development, Employment, and Alumni Follow‑up Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, held a workshop on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, entitled “Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Field of Veterinary Medicine.”
The workshop was presented by Lecturer Omar Younis Ismail from the Anatomy Department. It introduced fourth‑year students to the concept of artificial intelligence, the most important available tools, methods of use, and ways to activate these tools to support applications in veterinary medicine. The session was marked by active engagement from participants, who raised a variety of questions that were thoroughly addressed.
This workshop is part of a series of activities through which the College seeks to promote a culture of sustainable development, in alignment with Goal 4 (Quality Education) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
