Scientific workshop.Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Dhamia Ali Abdullah, and the head of the Department of Life Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Suleiman Hassan, the Department of Biology held the scientific workshop entitled:(The World and the Epidemic/Monkeypox)The workshop was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Daoud Habo Muhammad, and the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, in addition to a number of faculty members, and a large group of college students.The workshop included several topics on Monkeypox delivered by a group of faculty members. The aim of the workshop was to clarify the epidemiology of this disease, the general description of the causative virus, what are the symptoms and methods of diagnosis, control of Monkeypox, and how to distinguish it from other skin diseases..
