In an atmosphere of interactive scientific engagement, the Department of Biology hosted a specialized session to discuss Master’s research projects presented by postgraduate students, as part of its ongoing series of academic activities.

The session was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Mohammed Basheer Al-Khashab, Head of the Department, and was jointly organized by members of the Postgraduate Studies Committee and the Scientific Committee. During the session, students delivered research presentations covering diverse topics, outlining their objectives, scientific methodologies, and future work plans. The discussions were marked by vibrancy and objectivity, enriching the proposed ideas and expanding the scope of the projects.

Both committees praised the high scientific quality of the research proposals and emphasized the importance of the session’s recommendations in refining research plans and strengthening their practical dimensions in ways that serve the community and align with current research trends.

This activity reflects the department’s vision to promote rigorous scientific research and elevate the standard of postgraduate studies, in line with the university’s aspirations to achieve academic excellence and produce research outcomes that are impactful and responsive to societal needs.
