Dean’s Speech

I extend my warmest greetings to you on the official website of the College of Education for Women – University of Mosul. Founded in 2005, this academic institution stands as a beacon of knowledge and learning, and as a cornerstone in supporting the advancement of higher education and community service.

The college, comprising six distinguished academic departments (Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, Arabic Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and English Language Department ), strives to provide a rigorous academic environment based on modern curricula and electronic learning methods. This approach enhances our students’ scientific and research capabilities, contributing to the preparation of specialized professional cadres capable of keeping pace with contemporary developments and meeting the needs of the labor market.

The college also includes various scientific and service facilities, such as advanced laboratories, a computer center, a scientific library, an indoor sports hall, a greenhouse, and an animal house, all of which support the educational process and assist researchers and students in their academic pursuits across different disciplines.

Moreover, the college actively fulfills its societal role by organizing development courses and training workshops that serve academic and administrative staff within and outside the university. It also hosts local and international scientific conferences and symposia and engages in cooperation with academic and educational institutions to strengthen its regional and international academic presence.

We firmly believe that education is a noble mission and that women are active partners in building society. Therefore, the College of Education for Women continues its journey with determination and dedication to achieve academic excellence and empower female students to effectively contribute  in the development of our nation and community.

In conclusion, I extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all my colleagues in the teaching and administrative staff . My thanks go to everyone who contributed in the progress and distinction of this academic institution. I wish our dear students a bright future filled with achievement and success.
