Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics participate in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Faculties of Administration and Economics, which was hosted by the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, with the participation of the deans of the faculties of administration and economics in Iraq and in the presence of Dr. Qutayba Al-Qazzaz, Rapporteur of the Deans Committee.

The meeting discussed the requests submitted by some private colleges regarding the opening of accounting departments and oil and gas economics in the faculties of economic sciences and books and graduate programs in some government colleges, as well as discussing the modernization and development of curricula for the departments of faculties of administration and economics in Iraqi universities in line with the requirements of the labor market.The meeting also discussed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stipulates the addition of a subject called Baath crimes to the bachelor’s curriculum, and the proposal of Al Ain University to add artificial intelligence in the curriculum of one of the subjects in addition to other topics, and appropriate decisions were taken on all the topics raised.
