Department of Marketing Management
The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Marketing Management at the University of Mosul is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program comprising 240 ECTS credits, aligned with the Bologna Process. The program provides students with a solid foundation in the principles and fundamental concepts of marketing, followed by advanced study in marketing disciplines. It also includes contemporary marketing studies that keep pace with commercial developments, market trends, and consumer behavior toward products and brands. The Marketing Management Program aims to:
- To prepare graduates with advanced marketing competencies capable of analyzing markets, understanding consumer behavior, and making data-driven and knowledge-based marketing decisions.

Upon successful completion of the program requirements, graduates receive a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Marketing Management from the University of Mosul.
The program is classified at Level 6 of the Iraqi National Qualifications Framework (INQF), or its equivalent, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).
Special Admission Requirements
Admission to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Marketing Management program is governed by the regulations and admission policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and the University of Mosul. Applicants must meet the approved admission criteria for Administration & Economics programs.
To be awarded the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Marketing Management, students must successfully satisfy all graduation requirements, including:
▪ Successful completion of all 240 ECTS credits, including all compulsory and elective courses specified in the curriculum.
▪ Achievement of the minimum graduation requirements in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and the University of Mosul.
▪ Successful completion of all required laboratory work, field training, and other practical components of the program, where applicable.
▪ Compliance with all academic regulations governing assessment, progression, and graduation as approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and the University of Mosul.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and transfer of academic credits are considered only in cases of student transfer or course equivalency, in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and the University of Mosul.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Marketing Management program, graduates are expected to achieve the following Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) or Graduate Outcomes (GOs), which describe the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required upon graduation:
First: Knowledge and Understanding: Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to:

| – Formative assessment is a type of assessment that identifies a student’s strengths and weaknesses during the semester and determines their progress toward achieving learning outcomes. Formative assessment consists of tasks and assignments determined by the course instructor and approved by the college/institute council. These may include, for example, daily quizzes, homework assignments, reports, projects, field visits, discussions, clinical requirements, etc., depending on the nature of the course.
– Summative assessment is a type of assessment conducted mid-semester and at the end of the semester. It evaluates student achievements and ensures that the student has indeed achieved the learning outcomes. Summative assessment consists of two parts: a mid-semester exam and a final exam. It may also include a practical or clinical exam. |

Study Methodology
The Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program offered according to the Bologna Process, comprising 240 credit hours (ECTS). The program adopts a student-centered approach, integrating theoretical lectures, practical applications, field training, project-based learning, and modern marketing and sales management software. Students are trained in the use of accredited computer-aided marketing and sales software, marketing environment analysis, and other specialized marketing and service applications. These learning activities are supported by seminars, technical workshops, and practical training to enhance students’ technical competence, digital skills, and readiness for marketing activities.
Program Coordinator
Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management program. Their role includes overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring the achievement of graduate learning outcomes, coordinating academic activities between faculty and students, supervising practical and field training activities, and ensuring compliance with the University of Mosul’s quality assurance policies, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s regulations, and program accreditation requirements. The Program Coordinator also supports curriculum review and development to ensure the program keeps pace with advancements in marketing management, market and societal needs, and emerging technologies.
