The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Assessing the risks of financing the budget deficit in the new monetary issuance of selected countries”.

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The aim of the current study submitted by the student “Banan Muhammad Hisham”
In the economics section into: Showing the impact of financial and monetary variables, including (the new monetary issuance on the fiscal deficit of the budget of selected Arab countries and some Latin American countries.

The study concluded with the most important conclusions: the high levels of inflation further complicate the problem of the public budget deficit, due to the lack of response to tax revenues to the increase with the high level of several general < of prices due to the inflexibility of the tax system.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Prof. Dr. Saadoun Hussein Farhan, and the membership of Assistant Prof. Dr. Laura Bassem Bashir from Al-Hamdaniya University, and Assistant Professor Mr. Muhammad Thanoun Muhammad and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Hashim Mohamed Yacoub.
