Meeting of the Council of the College of Administration and Economics on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in its twenty-fourth session.

The Faculty Council met under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and the heads of scientific departments, and the meeting dealt with the following topics:

1- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to expedite the presentation of the results of postgraduate studies with their approval in accordance with the exam instructions in force.

2- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments on the need to adhere to the working hours of teachers and employees in the morning and evening and according to the directives.

3- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up the second round exams and complete the results within the specified time period according to the university calendar.

4- He also directed to prepare and prepare for the competitive exams for postgraduate studies, which will be fully electronic according to the MCQ system of multiple-choice questions.

Finally, the Council dealt with what was stated in its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.

Which was submitted by the student "Saif Abdul Razzaq Muhammad Yassin" in the Department of Accounting to: Provide an integrated theoretical framework for text and sentiment analysis and on the practical side aims to determine the impact of text and feelings analysis on the quality of integrated reporting by applying textual analysis techniques and sentiment analysis on a sample of companies. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: Companies can improve the quality of their reports and provide a more accurate and comprehensive view of their performance through text analysis techniques, and then ensure that their reports are balanced and readable from many categories, regardless of their academic achievement.
