The Department of Business Administration – College of Administration and Economics at University of Mosul Discusses a Higher Diploma Thesis on Workplace Vitality and Its Impact on Reducing Organizational Obesity

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, represented by the Department of Business Administration, witnessed on Sunday, 15 February 2026, the defense of a Higher Diploma thesis entitled: “Workplace Vitality as an Approach to Reducing Organizational Obesity – An Analytical Study of the Views of a Sample of Employees at Al-Awael Private Schools Group”
The thesis was submitted by the student Aseel Muhannad Abdulal Khaleel Al-Sarraj and defended in Discussion Hall No. (2).
The study aimed to measure the level of organizational vitality within Al-Awael Private Schools Group and to examine the extent to which organizational vitality contributes to reducing the phenomenon of organizational obesity. It also sought to clarify the nature of the relationship between the study variables and their impact on improving the work environment and enhancing institutional efficiency.
The study concluded with several findings, most notably the existence of a significant effect of organizational vitality in reducing organizational obesity, which contributes to strengthening institutional performance and increasing organizational effectiveness.
