The College of Administration and Economics at University of Mosul organizes an awareness workshop on the impact of fasting on people with chronic illnesses

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the University Psychological Counseling Division at the college, in cooperation with the University Health Center, organized an awareness workshop on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, titled:
“The Impact of Fasting on People with Chronic Diseases.”
The workshop was held at 11:00 a.m. in Hall No. (2).
The session was delivered by specialist physician Dr. Iman Azhar Younis Al-Taie, who reviewed key medical guidelines related to fasting for patients with chronic illnesses. She clarified the necessary health precautions and emphasized the importance of medical follow-up to ensure safe and healthy fasting.
The event was attended by a number of staff members and students of the college, as part of efforts to promote health awareness within the university environment and strengthen preventive culture during the holy month of Ramadan.
