The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Organizes a Training Course to Develop Soft Skills and Enhance Professional and Institutional Performance

Under the patronage of the Deanship of the University of Mosul, the College of Administration and Economics organized a training course entitled “Developing and Enhancing Soft Skills to Strengthen Professional and Institutional Performance.” The course was held on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, in Laboratory No. (1) at the Deanship building of the college.
The course was organized by the Women’s Affairs Committee in the college in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency and the Continuing Education Unit. It comes as part of the Women’s Affairs Unit’s plan and programs aimed at developing the capacities of staff members and enhancing their professional skills, in line with sustainable development orientations that support building human resource capabilities and improving the institutional work environment.
The training sessions were delivered by:

Assistant Lecturer Maawa Rabee Ahmed
The course focused on several important topics, most notably strengthening participants’ understanding of the concept of soft skills and their importance in the workplace, developing effective communication and teamwork skills, as well as enhancing time management and problem-solving skills, all of which contribute to improving professional and institutional performance efficiency.
The course witnessed the participation of a number of the college staff members and aimed to enhance their professional capacities and provide them with practical skills that contribute to improving job performance and promoting an effective institutional work culture within the university environment.
