The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Hosts Scientific Collaboration with the College of Dentistry within the Iraqi Oral and Dental Health Week

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the College of Administration and Economics hosted, on Monday (March 30, 2026), a specialized scientific workshop held as part of the Iraqi Oral and Dental Health Week. The event took place in Discussion Hall No. (1) and the Department of Economics Hall.
The workshop was organized by the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the College of Dentistry – University of Mosul, under the title:
“Tooth Loss: Causes, Effects, and Treatment Methods.”
The workshop lectures were delivered by Lecturer Dr. Marwa Marwan and Lecturer Dr. Alaa Nadhim from the College of Dentistry. They presented, in a solid scientific manner, the main causes of tooth loss, its health implications, as well as the latest treatment and preventive methods, contributing to raising health awareness and enhancing medical knowledge among the attendees.
The workshop witnessed distinguished attendance, including a number of graduate dentists as well as students from the College of Administration and Economics, in an interactive scientific environment that reflects the importance of interdisciplinary integration between medical and administrative fields.
At the conclusion of the event, an interactive scientific competition was held among the students, featuring a set of medical questions related to oral and dental health. The activity aimed to reinforce knowledge and encourage participation, with interactive gifts distributed to participants in a lively and engaging academic atmosphere.
This event reflects the College of Administration and Economics’ commitment to scientific openness and collaboration with peer colleges, as well as its efforts to promote health awareness among its students. It aligns with the University of Mosul’s vision of building an integrated educational environment that combines academic knowledge with community awareness, and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 3: “Good Health and Well-being”—through promoting preventive awareness and healthy behaviors within the university community.
