College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Celebrates Student Creativity at the Third “Atyaf Al-Qawafi” Poetry Festival

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Cultural Activities Unit / Student Activities Division organized the third cultural poetry festival, “Atyaf Al-Qawafi,” on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Hall No. (2), with the participation of a distinguished group of talented students from the college.
The festival featured a rich selection of poetry that reflected the students’ emotions and ideas. The poems explored themes such as love for (the homeland) and the importance of knowledge and its role in building society, presented through refined literary expression that highlighted the participants’ cultural awareness and creative talent.
The students demonstrated an impressive literary level, showcasing their ability to express ideas artistically and craft meaningful, impactful language, which created a vibrant and engaging cultural atmosphere throughout the event.
At the end of the festival, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participating students and the organizing committees in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of this event.
This festival reflects the college’s commitment to supporting cultural activities, nurturing students’ creative talents, and strengthening the presence of literature and poetry within the academic environment, contributing to the development of well-rounded individuals who combine knowledge with creativity.
