College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul Concludes a Specialized Training Program Titled “Bridges of Survival”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the University Psychological Counseling Division, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the college, concluded on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the activities of a training program titled:
“Bridges of Survival (The Art of Psychological Resilience and Creating Hope)”.
The program witnessed active participation from both staff and students of the college. Its sessions addressed several vital topics, most notably:
Concepts of psychological resilience and building hope
Mechanisms for providing psychological support and assistance to individuals
The impact of risky behaviors on the right to life
The role of the state and institutions in reducing negative phenomena and enhancing community protection
The training sessions were delivered by:

Assistant Lecturer Nidhal Kareem Mohammed
Assistant Lecturer Sawsan Khalid Abdul Ghani
The program was marked by an interactive academic atmosphere and constructive discussions, which contributed to strengthening psychological awareness and enhancing participants’ positive coping skills.
This program comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul to promote awareness and educational initiatives, activate the university’s role in serving the community, and build a supportive educational environment that contributes to the intellectual and psychological development of individuals.
