The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul organizes a development course for Scout activity leaders to enhance leadership and field skills.

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, the Scout Activities Unit in the Student Activities Division of the college organized a development course for the leaders of Scout activity units at the colleges of the University of Mosul, held from April 21 to 22, 2026.
The course aimed to introduce the principles and goals of the Scout movement, highlight the importance of the Scout uniform as one of the core symbols of Scout identity, and raise awareness of the educational values that underpin this movement.
The program also included a practical component, training participants on flag-raising ceremonies and Scout knots, which helped refine their leadership and field skills, enhancing their ability to organize and manage Scout activities efficiently.
At the conclusion of the course, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled, distributed certificates of appreciation to the lecturers and participants, in recognition of their efforts and active participation in the success of this event.
This course is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support student activities and enhance the role of the Scout movement in developing students’ personalities and fostering leadership and teamwork skills.
