Under Direct Ministerial Supervision: College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Manages Assessment Exams and Coordinates Academically with Al-Hadba University

The assessment exams for the Administrative and Economic Specializations Committee were successfully conducted on the morning of Wednesday, May 13, 2026, The exams followed the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and were under the direct supervision of specialized committees from the Ministry’s headquarters, which monitored the progress of the exams across public and private colleges of Administration and Economics via Zoom.
In this context, the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, conducted an inspection tour to oversee the final exams for the second semester of the academic year 2025–2026. He was accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, and the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqader.
The college had finalized all logistical and technical preparations by Tuesday evening under the direct supervision of the Dean, with the active participation of the associate deans and heads of scientific departments. These preparations included drafting and sealing exam questions, preparing bubble sheets and attendance lists, and providing all necessary examination supplies.
As the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul is the supervising entity for the assessment exams at Al-Hadba University, all examination materials were safely delivered to Al-Hadba University on Wednesday morning after being fully prepared by the specialized committee.
At the University of Mosul, the examinations included:
- Department of Business Administration: The Financial Management exam for third-year students (both morning and evening sessions), with a total of 606 male and female students participating.
- Department of Accounting: The Information Systems exam for fourth-year students (both morning and evening sessions), with a total of 305 male and female students participating.
During an interview with the Media and Government Communication Division, the Dean explained that a dedicated WhatsApp group was established for direct, real-time coordination between supervisors at both the University of Mosul and Al-Hadba University to track instructions and updates regarding the assessment exams instantaneously.
The examination process went smoothly within a highly organized and quiet environment, featuring full logistical support, an ideal exam atmosphere, and strict adherence to supervision and proctoring procedures. Each exam hall was proctored in person by three faculty members, alongside centralized camera monitoring, under the direct supervision of the department heads, their coordinators, and the college deanship.
This initiative aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aim to enhance scientific rigor and standardize academic benchmarks across colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraqi universities.
