“Business Process Re-engineering” Is the Focus of a Scientific Workshop in the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul

​On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop titled “Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)” at the Management Information Systems Department Hall No. (2).

​The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Muneeb Ali, who addressed the concept of business process re-engineering and its significance in developing institutional performance. This is achieved by radically redesigning procedures and processes to enhance efficiency, improve service quality, and accelerate execution speed.

​The workshop aimed to enable participants to design more effective administrative models, eliminate redundant steps, and reduce waste in time and resources, thereby achieving a qualitative leap in performance efficiency and the quality of institutional outcomes.

​The event was attended by several faculty members, researchers, and students from the department. It concluded with scientific discussions and academic dialogues covering mechanisms for developing modern administrative processes, and their role in promoting institutional excellence and achieving an effective response to the demands of the contemporary work environment.
