A Distinguished Academic Contribution: Two Faculty Members from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Conduct a Training Course at the College of Engineering

Within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation between the colleges of the University of Mosul and transferring scientific expertise, the College of Administration and Economics contributed to implementing the training course titled “Administrative and Financial Skills Development Program.” The course was hosted by the College of Engineering from June 7 to 11, 2026, with the participation of a number of the college’s staff members.
The course modules were presented by Assistant Lecturer Hadeel Ahmed Khalaf and Assistant Lecturer Maryam Iyad Yousif, both faculty members at the College of Administration and Economics. They addressed specialized topics in developing administrative and financial skills, which included planning and organizing, resource management, the financial drivers of institutions, and developing leadership and teamwork skills, leading up to practical applications and a participant evaluation test.
The course aimed to enable participants to utilize modern administrative and financial methods, thereby contributing to raising the efficiency of institutional performance, enhancing the quality of decision-making, and consolidating the concepts of sustainable development. This reflects the scientific and academic role that the College of Administration and Economics plays in serving the university community and exchanging expertise among colleges.
