University of Mosul – College of Administration and Economics – Department of Marketing Management Discusses a Master’s Thesis on the Impact of Offensive Marketing on Achieving Marketing Success

The Department of Marketing Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, witnessed on Thursday, July 9, 2026, the discussion of the Master’s thesis entitled: “The Role of Offensive Marketing in Enhancing Marketing Success in the Private Education Sector”, submitted by the student Mohammed Sata’a Mudhafar Al-Rawi, in Discussion Hall No. (1) at the College’s Deanship.

​The study sought to diagnose the level of employees’ awareness regarding the concept of offensive marketing and its dimensions, and to demonstrate its role in achieving marketing success. Furthermore, it aimed to test the nature of the correlation and impact between offensive marketing and marketing success in private education institutions, contributing scientific insights that support the development of marketing practices in this sector.

​The results of the study showed that word-of-mouth came at the forefront of the offensive marketing dimensions in terms of relative importance, reflecting its effectiveness in enhancing marketing performance. The results also indicated that customer satisfaction and loyalty represent the fundamental pillar of marketing success, confirming the importance of building sustainable relationships with customers and responding to their expectations. Additionally, the study proved the existence of a significant correlation and impact between offensive marketing and marketing success, which enhances organizations’ ability to improve their competitive performance and achieve their marketing goals.
