The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Discusses Enhancing Entrepreneurship and Linking Graduates with the Labor Market with Science and Technology Parks Department

The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, received the Head of the Science and Technology Parks Department and an accompanying delegation from the Presidency of the University of Mosul on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Entrepreneurship Unit, the Head of the Technology Incubator Unit, and the Head of the Career Development and Alumni Follow-up Unit at the college.

​The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the college and the university presidency in supporting the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. It also aimed to leverage the social standing of the College of Administration and Economics as an influential institution in building partnerships with the private sector, thereby contributing to the advancement of entrepreneurial initiatives and the incubation of creative ideas.

​During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms to expand joint cooperation and enhance the college’s role in aligning its academic outcomes with the requirements of the labor market. This is to be achieved by activating entrepreneurial initiatives, creating new avenues for graduates, and generating real job opportunities that support economic development and foster an environment of innovation across both the university and the wider community.
