Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammad Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, the Student Activities Division / Sports Activities Unit at the college organized a variety of sports events and activities today, Sunday, September 20, 2026, in celebration of the International Day of University Sport, across the college’s halls and sports fields.

​The events witnessed the participation of several college members, including faculty, staff, and students from various scientific departments, in an atmosphere filled with sportsmanship, positive interaction, and cooperation, reflecting the importance of sports in enhancing communication among members of the university community and fostering a culture of physical activity on campus.

​These activities reaffirm the commitment of the College of Administration and Economics to supporting athletic endeavors as an essential component of the academic environment, highlighting its belief in the role sports play in promoting physical and mental health, and building a more active and balanced university community, in line with the event’s motto:

​”Sports for Sustainable Health.”
