Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, held an expanded meeting today, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Hall 1 with graduate students across all programs and academic departments to mark the start of the 2026–2027 academic year. The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, Head of the Graduate Studies Unit.

​The meeting focused on two main areas, social and academic. The Dean highlighted the importance of keeping direct lines of communication open with graduate students, staying updated on their needs, and resolving day-to-day challenges by offering administrative and logistical support to foster an encouraging environment for their academic growth.

​Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil also stressed the need for students to complete their registration within official deadlines and submit required documents to their departments in both paper and digital formats to keep administrative procedures organized.

​On the academic front, the Dean emphasized managing course schedules effectively and making the most of this academic stage as a valuable opportunity to excel in accordance with university standards.

​He pointed to the importance of pursuing rigorous scientific research and publishing graduate student work in recognized international indexing databases, which elevates the college’s scholarly standing and improves overall research quality.

​The session ended with an open discussion where students shared their feedback and suggestions. The Dean took note of their points and discussed several of them directly, reaffirming the deanship’s commitment to active dialogue and to partnering with students to enhance the university environment, teaching standards, and research outcomes.
