Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, Prof an expanded meeting with the staff of the Department of Management Information Systems. The meeting was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asim Al-Salem, Head of the Department, as part of final preparations for the upcoming visit by the ministerial team of national evaluators for programmatic accreditation.

​The meeting reviewed key accreditation requirements, primarily focusing on enhancing scientific research quality, publishing in indexed international journals, and finalizing academic and organizational documentation to reflect the department’s academic and institutional performance.

​During an interview with the Media and Government Communication Unit, the Dean confirmed that the department has completed its preparations and satisfied the fundamental requirements for the visit—a step that underscores the college’s commitment to establishing quality standards and advancing its academic programs toward accreditation and excellence.
