Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 a meeting with faculty members who completed overseas scholarship programs. The meeting was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, to discuss strategies for advancing scientific research, graduate studies, and international academic engagement.
The meeting focused on three primary tracks. The first addressed expanding publication in indexed international journals, fostering collaboration with scholars in host countries through joint supervision of Master’s and Ph.D. theses, and establishing research teams with international peers.
The second track centered on forming a committee to update and redesign the formatting guidelines manual for Master’s theses and Ph.D. dissertations within the college, bringing them in line with international academic standards and current scholarly practices.
The third track aimed to capitalize on the diverse experience of faculty members trained at foreign universities by involving them in supervising theses and dissertations written in English, thereby elevating the international dimension of graduate programs and enhancing the quality of research outcomes.
