The Department of Economics at the Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “The response of monetary and fiscal policy variables to the fluctuations in oil prices of selected countries for the period 1990-2019”.
The study presented by the student “Fath Kamel Kaim” in the Department of Economics aims at measuring the response of monetary policy variables (legal reserve ratio, rediscount rate, money supply) and fiscal policy variables (public expenditures and tax revenues) to oil price fluctuations. The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hashim Mohammed Al-Arkoub and with the membership of Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Obaid Juma from Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Rafea Ibrahim Al-Hamdani, Assistant Professor Dr. Saadoun Hussein Farhan from Kirkuk University College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalaf Mohammed Hamad from Tikrit University and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Aws Fakhreddin Ayoub.
