The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the higher diploma tagged “The availability of sustainable maintenance dimensions in the northern cement assistant – Badoush Cement Plant Expansion / exploratory study.
The current study  which was submitted by the student “Wafaa Mohamed Fathy” in the Department of Industrial Management, sought to adopt the concept of sustainable maintenance dimensions, which contribute to maintenance efforts effectively in mitigating the environmental and social impacts of the company, reducing product life cycle expenses, and enhancing the longevity of equipment.

The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: The dimensions of sustainable maintenance help to achieve the effectiveness of sustainable maintenance performance.
– The analysis of the actual reality of the dimensions of sustainable maintenance also showed the support of senior management, which was represented by giving the maintenance function a privileged position in the organizational structure of the plant equal to other departments, which makes the role of sustainable maintenance a strategic future in the Badoush Cement Plant.
The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Munib Ali and the membership of both Assistant Professor Mr. Riyad Jamil Wahab and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ragheed Ibrahim Ismail.
