The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the Higher Diploma in Quality Management tagged “Improving the Quality of Electric Power Services / A Case Study in the General Company for Northern Electricity Distribution”.

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current research addressed… Which was submitted by the student “Raed Salman Mohammed” in the Department of Industrial Management to measure some indicators of the quality of electric power service in the General Company for Northern Electricity Distribution, as the citizen suffers from the lack of electrical energy supply, so it was necessary to measure the indicators of the quality of electric power service (compliance with the commercial service, continuity of supply The surveyed company because of its importance in knowing and addressing weaknesses and improving the sites of power and exploiting them and the reasons that led to the lack of electrical power supply.

The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: the need to raise the level of quality of performance of the General Company for Northern Electricity Distribution based on a radical solution to all the company’s problems, including solving the problem of abuses on the electrical network based on the extension of underground networks and the installation of smart meters, and the rehabilitation of distribution stations, and the establishment of practical courses applied at the work site associates to improve the quality of electrical energy service provided to subscribers.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ali Ismail and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ghazi Thanoun and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohamed.
