The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, the master’s thesis entitled “The development of electronic payment methods and their impact on the total output of selected countries with reference to Iraq”.

Part of the dlscussion was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman.The current study presented by the student “Khaled Aziz Mahmoud” in the Department of Economics aimed to measure the impact of the development of electronic payment methods on GDP, through the development of study variables related to electronic payment methods, expressed in independent or explanatory variables (electronic instruments clearing, credit transfers, immediate total settlement, electronic payment), as well as the evolution of GDP at current prices and expressed in the dependent or internal variable.The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Mufid Thanoun Younis, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Luqman Osman Omar from Salahaddin University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Anmar Amin Haji.
