The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Measuring and analyzing the impact of trade openness and other variables on the economic performance of some Arab countries, with reference to Iraq for the period (2020-2022)”.
The current study presented by the student “Haron Rasho Fares” in the Department of Economics aims to analyze the impact of trade openness and other economic variables on the economic growth of some Arab countries with reference to Iraq, and the study starts from the existence or absence of a relationship between trade openness and other variables and economic growth and based on the hypotheses of nothingness and alternative ‘The study used economic theory and previous studies based on the descriptive approach to describe the impact of trade openness on economic growth.
The study concluded several conclusions, the most important of which are: measuring and analyzing the impact of trade openness and other variables on the economic performance of Iraq and some Arab countries for the duration of the research.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Hamad Hussein from the University of Tikrit, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Adeeb Ibrahim, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Thanoun Saadoun, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud Al-Kawaz.
