The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “The Reinforcing Role of Four-Dimensional Simultaneous Engineering of the Relationship between a Number of Lean Manufacturing Pillars and Green Manufacturing Requirements: A Case Study in the Kronji Group of Companies for Beverages and Juices”.

Part of the discussion was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study presented by the student “Hussein Noureddine Ezzat” in the Department of Industrial Management sought to: Demonstrate the role of the pillars of agile manufacturing (independent variable) in strengthening the pillars of green manufacturing (as an approved variable) through four-dimensional simultaneous engineering (as an intermediate variable) in the Kronji Group of Companies for Beverages and Juices.

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: the existence of a statistically significant (indirect) effect of the independent variable of agile manufacturing in terms of its foundations (in general) in the dependent variable green manufacturing in terms of its requirements (in general) with the presence of the reinforcement variable (four-dimensional simultaneous geometry) as an intermediate variable, meaning that the relationship is completely intermediary.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Ahmed and with the membership of Prof. Dr. Fadila Salman Daoud from the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Adel Zakir Al-Naama, Assistant Professor Dr. Sabah Anwar Yaqoub from Al-Hadba University College and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Ghazi Dhanoun and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Raad Adnan Raouf.
