College of Administration and Economics

The Faculty Council met in its ninth session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the respected assistants of the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the respected heads of scientific departments, and the meeting dealt with the following topics:

1- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to commit to working hours for teaching and functional cadres according to the specified time schedules with continuous follow-up by the heads of departments.

2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to pay attention to the issue of quality assurance and reliability and to seek to complete the files related to the requirements of academic accreditation.

3- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to hold seminars, workshops and scientific conferences that contribute to addressing realistic problems and developing various economic sectors.

4- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to motivate the teaching staff to publish in scientific journals, especially Scopus international containers, and to pay attention to scientific research in a way that enhances the scientific performance of the dear College of Administration and Economics and the University of Mosul

Finally, the Council dealt with what was stated in its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.
