Within the scientific activities of the Department of Industrial Management and Community Service, Dr. (Amal Sarhan Suleiman) participated in the scientific workshop on green jobs of the Engineering Society for Environment and Development, which took place at the association’s headquarters on 8/3/2024, and several projects for waste recycling and the possibility of exploiting this waste in other industries were discussed.

Where they talked about green jobs and sustainable practices and their importance, and the participants were able to understand the aspects of sustainability and link them with their work and projects, the session also touched on empowering women and making them leaders to break the stereotype circulating about women in our societies, each participant talked about her emerging projects and how to apply them to aspects of sustainability.
