The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Measuring and analyzing the impact of taxes on economic performance in selected countries”
Part of it was attended by the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
The current study presented by the student “Jassim Ahmed Thalaj” in the Department of Economics aims to diagnose the most important imbalances in the economy of the sample countries, and to show the extent to which the growth of their economies is affected by tax revenues and government agreement in them, and the study combined the methods of theoretical economic analytical research and experimental work based on economic measurement tools to prove the research hypothesis from not proving.
The study concluded several conclusions, the most important of which are: It is the difference in the impact of tax revenue and government spending between the sample countries.
The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ahmed Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Ibrahim Ahmed from the University of Tikrit, and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Hashem Muhammad Al-Arkoub.
