College of Administration and Economics

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, President of the University of Baghdad and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, Dean of the College and in cooperation with the Iraqi Society for Statistical Sciences, the College of Administration and Economics / University of Baghdad hosted the meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraq.

The meeting discussed the reality of the faculties of administration and economics in Iraq in light of the economic transformations taking place in the world and the accelerated technological challenges that have become an integral part of the educational system and keep pace with technological developments in various disciplines to upgrade and improve the quality of the educational process, with the aim of building students’ knowledge and skills and preparing them for the labor market in light of the digital transformation imposed on all sectors.

The members of the committee also discussed the creation of scientific departments in private colleges, the adoption of scientific books composed of college professors, the development of scientific curricula and the inclusion of colleges in the study according to the Bologna path according to the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the University of Baghdad honored Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul, Vice Chairman of the Deans Committee, with a letter of thanks and appreciation for his effective efforts to develop the scientific process.
