The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Measuring and analyzing the impact of some macroeconomic variables on the foreign trade of the Arab Maghreb countries with reference to Iraq for the period (2000-2022)”

The current study presented by the student “Mustafa Hamid Majed” in the Department of Economics aims to identify the reality of foreign trade data for the Arab Maghreb countries and Iraq, analyze the relative relationship between foreign trade and macroeconomic variables, and analyze the results of the estimate according to the standard models used for the impact of some macroeconomic variables on the foreign trade of Iraq and the Arab Maghreb countries for the duration of the research.

The study reached a set of conclusions and proposals that are useful in the field of foreign trade of Iraq and the Arab Maghreb countries and for decision-makers.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Rabah Jamil Al-Khatib, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan, and Assistant Professor Dr. Arshad Taha Khoshnaw, Economic Advisor / Kurdistan Regional Parliament, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud Al-Kawaz.
