The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of digital culture on the use of medical information technology applications: a survey of the opinions of a sample of Mosul city doctors”

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study presented by the student “Qutayba Abdel Moneim Abdel Khattab” in the Department of Management Information Systems aimed to: test the relationship of influence between digital culture and medical information technology applications, as the dimensions of digital culture were chosen based on the literature and were represented by four dimensions (skill dimension, cognitive dimension, social dimension, decision-making), while the types of medical information technology applications were represented by (electronic medical record, Internet of Things).

The study concluded the most important conclusions: that there is a moral impact of digital culture on medical information technology applications, representing the field of study in health institutions in the city of Mosul, while the study population is doctors working in health institutions in the city of Mosul.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Fattah Al-Shaher, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Abdul Rahman Youssef, and Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Ali Jassim from Al-Nahrain University / College of Business Economics, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Abdul Rahim Hussein.
