The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “Measuring and analyzing the impact of some variables on financial derivatives indices: an analytical study in the Forex markets”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
The current study targeted … Submitted by the student “Najm Suhail Najm” in the Department of Business Administration to: Measuring and analyzing the impact of some variables on the trading volume of derivatives contracts (futures, foreign exchange swaps, options (OTC), traded in the Forex markets.
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: that investing in the Forex markets is a comfortable investment compared to other investment opportunities, and through it the traded derivatives market provides great benefits to the economy as a whole.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz Shuwaish Abdul Hamid from Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University, and with the membership of Prof. Dr. Hashem Muhammad Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Namir Amir Jassem, Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Sami Khudair, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ahmed Mohamed, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Rafia Ibrahim Abdullah.
