Inspection tour.
Within the framework of seeking to develop the educational environment and enhance academic cooperation, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College of Business and Economics, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, made a comprehensive tour of the college’s facilities. He was accompanied on the tour by a number of academic figures, including the Director General of the Central Bank of Iraq – Mosul Branch, the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, the Head of the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences, and members of the teaching staff.
The tour included a visit to the library, where the attendees were briefed on the academic resources available to students, and they also visited the Accounting Department, where they discussed the development of curricula and their role in meeting the requirements of the labor market. The tour also included inspecting the new building of the college, which aims to provide more space and advanced educational services, and they also visited the laboratories that support the practical side of the college students, where they discussed how to develop them to keep pace with the needs of financial and banking disciplines.
At the end of the tour, the Dean expressed the importance of these inspection tours in enhancing interaction between faculty and students, and ensuring an integrated educational environment that supports achieving academic goals, stressing that the college will continue to improve its facilities and curricula to enhance the quality of education and serve the future of students.
