The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of information technology capabilities in enhancing the success of information systems: a survey study at the University of Mosul”

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

In the Department of Management Information Systems to: Clarify the vital role of information technology capabilities in enhancing the success of management information systems at the University of Mosul. In order to achieve the objectives of the present study, a hypothesis scheme was designed and a set of hypotheses were developed to test the nature of the relationship between the hypothetical study variables.

The study concluded the most important conclusions: that the capabilities of information technology (infrastructure capabilities, human capabilities, dynamic capabilities, as well as the ability of the information technology relationship) significantly affect the success of information systems.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Bassam Abdel Rahman Youssef, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Nibal Younis Muhammad from the Northern Technical University / Administrative Technical College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hoda Abdel Rahim Hussein, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Zuhair Tawfiq.
