The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The extent of the application of quality standards of maintenance operations and their impact on reducing losses of electrical energy / an applied study in the General Company for Northern Electricity Distribution”
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

In the Department of Industrial Management to: Determining the impact of the quality of maintenance operations in reducing losses of electrical energy in the Nineveh Center Electricity Distribution Branch, as the study was based on determining its variables on the quality of maintenance operations as an independent variable and losses of electrical energy as an approved variable.
The study concluded the most important conclusions: that increasing care for the quality of maintenance operations will contribute to reducing electrical energy losses in the field studied, as it was verified that there is a correlation and a significant impact between the quality of maintenance operations and electrical energy losses in the branch under study.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Fadila Salman Daoud from the University of Baghdad, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sattar Al-Hafez, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Ghazi Dhanoun, and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Ahmed.
