The Department of Banking and Financial Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged: “The impact of achieving losses on the returns of insurance companies and the extent of its reflection on their financial solvency: an analytical study in the National Insurance Company”.
Part of it was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.

In the Department of Banking and Financial Sciences: Knowing the impact of achieving losses on the returns of national insurance companies and the extent to which it is reflected in their financial solvency by measuring the realization of losses using the loss percentage index as well as the relative importance of compensating a number of technical portfolios of the National Insurance Company.
The study concluded to the most important conclusions: that there is a statistically significant impact to achieve losses in the solvency of the National Insurance Company through the technical and investment return of the company, and there is a statistically significant discrepancy of the impact of achieving losses between the technical and investment returns of the National Insurance Company.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Jamal Hadash Muhammad from the University of Tikrit, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Abdul Karim Muhammad Al-Hashemi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ashti Abdul Sattar Abdul Ghani, and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Rafia Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Hamdani.
