The Department of Industrial Management in the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the Higher Diploma in Industrial Management entitled “Adopting Green Manufacturing Strategies in Industrial Companies / a Case Study in Mosul Iron and Steel Company”

The current study … submitted by the student “Suhaib Thamer Mahmoud” in the Department of Industrial Management sought to shed light on the importance of adopting a green manufacturing strategy in industrial companies as a means of enhancing economic efficiency and achieving environmental sustainability, as green manufacturing strategies were analyzed through three main dimensions: reduction, reuse, and recycling. The study was applied to the iron and steel factory in Mosul with (43) respondents from the factory employees.

The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: There is limited awareness of the importance of these strategies, with variation in their availability in the researched field. The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talal Ahmed, with membership of Lecturer Dr. Islam Youssef Sheet and membership and supervision of Lecturer Dr. Amal Sarhan Suleiman.
