The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis entitled “The impact of foreign financing on employment in Arab countries”

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study submitted by the student “Mahmoud Nayef Sayedou” in the Departme nt of Economics aimed to: demonstrate the extent to which foreign financing contributes to preparing the appropriate ground for the growth of employment opportunities in Arab countries as one of the problems troubling Arab economies by providing more job opportunities.

The study reached several conclusions, the most prominent of which are: the existence of a direct and significant relationship between net development aid as a percentage of the gross national income and the rate of participation of employers in the total labor force of the total population.

The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Dina Ahmed Omar from the Northern Technical University, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nayef Mahmoud from the College of Tourism Sciences, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Fadel Hammadi, under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Mufid Thanoon Younis.

The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College organized a workshop entitled "Preparing Action Plans and Feasibility Study".
