The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “The Contribution of Strategic Audit in Improving Organisational Performance The Mediating Role of Strategic Control: An Exploratory Study in a Sample of Government Units in Nineveh Governorate”. The study aimed … Which was submitted by the student “Ali Muhammad Abd Adib” in the Department of Business Administration to: Standing on the level of the contribution of strategic audit in improving organisational performance by testing the mediating role of strategic control indicators in government units in Nineveh Governorate,The field of study included the organisations of the Nineveh Governorate Office and a sample of the main units transferred to Nineveh Governorate.
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: the existence of significant and strong correlations between strategic audit and strategic control, which indicates that improving the quality of audit directly contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of strategic control, and the results also showed that strategic control plays a mediating and essential role in improving organisational performance, as it works to amplify the positive impact of strategic audit on organisational performance.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Salam Yahya, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Khamis Nasser Mohammed from the University of Anbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Bashir Mohammed, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Thabet Jassim and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Mawjoud Al-Ani, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Maan Waad Allah Al-Maadidi.
