Under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College of Business and Economics, a joint online scientific lecture entitled “Human Resource Management in the Digital Age” was organized, which targeted PhD students in the Department of Business Administration. The lecture was attended by Prof. Muayad Al-Salem, an expert in the field of human resources, who was born in Mosul, and holds a doctorate from the University of Glasgow – United Kingdom in 1984. Dr. Al-Salem has extensive academic experience, having lectured at several Iraqi, Arab and foreign universities, and is currently the Director of a consulting office in California, in addition to his work as a Human Resources Consultant at the London International Center for Training and Development. The lecture was also delivered by Prof. Maysoon Abdullah, who gave valuable interventions on the latest developments in the field of human resources management in light of the rapid digital transformations.

The lecture was held on Sunday, March 3, 2025, and witnessed fruitful interaction by students, where discussions dealt with prospects for development in the field of human resources in line with the requirements of the digital age. This lecture reflects the commitment of the College of Business and Economics to enhance academic communication with international expertise, and to provide a modern educational environment that keeps pace with scientific and technological developments.
