PhD discussion on Political Marketing and the Quality of Electoral Information in the Context of Social Media -A Study in Nineveh Governorate.

The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, a doctoral thesis discussion entitled:
“Political Marketing and Its Contribution to Enhancing the Quality of Information Provided to Voters: The Moderating Role of Social Media – An Analytical Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Voters in Nineveh Governorate.” The thesis was presented by student Moatasem Nazir Ahmed.
Part of the discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
The study aimed to identify the contribution of political marketing to enhancing the quality of information provided to voters, with a focus on the moderating role played by social media in this relationship, by analyzing the opinions of a sample of voters in Nineveh Governorate.
The study reached several conclusions, most notably:
There is a significant impact of political marketing on improving the quality of information provided to voters. The study also demonstrated another significant impact when social media was used as a moderating variable, indicating its prominent role in enhancing the effectiveness of political marketing.
