College of Administration and Economics

As part of practical training and enhancing the practical aspects of the Crisis Management course, the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul organized a field visit for MBA students, supervised by Professor Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

The visit included the Planning Unit and the Joint Coordination and Monitoring Center at the Nineveh Governorate Diwan’s Office for Displaced Persons and Organizations.

Students were introduced to the practical reality of organizational crisis management and the most important challenges facing the governorate.

They discussed the most prominent current crises, such as the hemorrhagic fever crisis, and the strategies used to address them. They also discussed plans and mechanisms for dealing with the various crises facing the governorate.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical understanding of how to plan for and manage crises in the field, linking theoretical aspects with real-life experiences, thus contributing to honing their academic and research skills.
