In an effort to enhance digital security awareness among students and affiliates, the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a workshop entitled “Cybersecurity and Email Protection.” Under the direction of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, the workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Hani Ramadan Alou and Lecturer Abdullah Abdul Haq. The workshop included an introduction to the concepts of cybersecurity and its importance in the digital age, an explanation of modern methods for protecting email from cyberattacks and hacks, and practical advice for enhancing personal and institutional protection.
The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, with numerous questions and discussions surrounding best practices for achieving a secure electronic environment.
This workshop is part of a series of development programs adopted by the college with the aim of enhancing student competence and enabling them to confront modern technological challenges.
